Youth & Amateur Sports
This committee sets standards for Youth and Amateur
Sports grant awards and criteria by which grants are
made; makes recommendations to full Board for Youth
and Amateur Sports grant awards; monitors
implementation of agreements with city and county
governments, non-profit organizations, and all other
entities, to help ensure the continued operation and
maintenance of approved facilities. Members of
this committee are:

Finance, Budget & Audit
This committee makes recommendations to the full Board
of Directors for annual operating budget; oversees
issuance of Authority bonds; reviews annual financial
audits; and provides oversight of Authority finances.

Herman Orcutt (Ex-Officio).

Tourism Promotion and Marketing
This committee collaborates with Arizona Tourism
officials, local CVB's, and West Valley economic
development and chamber of commerce officials to
promote tourism and bring additional events to the
University of Phoenix Stadium. Members of this Committee
are:

Cactus League
This committee interfaces with the Cactus League
Association, Major League Baseball teams, non-profit
Spring Training organizations and municipalities as
the Authority fulfills its mandate to renovate and
enhance Cactus League facilities. Members of
this Committee are:

Close-out Ad Hoc Advisory Group
Reviews and provides guidance over remaining stadium construction
matters and close-out issues related to the Project
Management Agreement, as well as any other matters
with having to do with the stadium project between
Board meetings. Members of this group are:

Super Bowl Ad Hoc Advisory Group
Reviews and provides guidance related to financial
and operational issues having to do with meeting the
Authority’s obligations to the Super Bowl Host
Committee and the NFL for Super Bowl XLII. Members of
